Notice of Retirement or Resignation. L22.1 A Teacher may only resign from the Board: a) effective either at the end of the first semester or at the end of the calendar year and shall, in both cases, provide no less than one month's written notice; or b) between June 30 and August 31 upon providing the Board written notice on or before May 15. L22.2 Despite L22.1 the Board and the Teacher may mutually agree to terminate the employment at any date. L22.3 A Teacher who enters into an agreement of employment with another board, school or educational authority, shall within 48 hours, advise the Board in writing of the anticipated final date of employment with the Board unless the Teacher has already given written notification of such employment to the Board.
