Notice of Sickness. The Department Manager or designee must be notified not later than one hour prior to the start of the employee’s scheduled tour of duty. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep the Department Manager or designee informed as to the continued absence beyond the first day.

Notice of Sickness. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep the Department Manager Director or designee informed as to the continued absence beyond the first dayday for reasons due to sickness or occupational disability. Failure to make such notification may result in denial of sick leave with pay.
