Notice of termination by an employee. Any employee, other than a casual employee, desiring to terminate their employment shall give to the employer two weeks’ notice of their intention to do so, or in lieu thereof the employee shall forfeit two weeks’ salary. Provided that, where the express provisions of an officer’s employment provides for a longer period of notice, such provisions shall apply.
