Notice of Termination by the Employer. (a) The contract of employment will be terminable by the Employer giving the employee the required period of notice in writing in accordance with the following table: Not more than three years At least two weeks More than three years but not more than five years At least three weeks More than five years At least four weeks (b) Provided that for Registered Nurses classified in Levels 2 and above the minimum period of notice will be four weeks. (c) In addition to the notice required to be given by the Employer, employees over 45 years of age at the time of the giving of the notice with not less than two years continuous service, are entitled to an additional week's notice.
