Period of Continuous Service. The notice of termination required to be given by an employee shall be the same as that required of the company, except that there shall be no additional notice based on the age of the employee concerned. By mutual arrangement, employees after having been given or have given notice, may leave their employment before the expiration of the notice period and receive wages up to the last day worked. The employment of a casual employee may be terminated by one (1) hour’s notice and the employee will be paid all monies due up until the time of termination. This clause is to be read subject to the rights of the Company to terminate an employee’s services without notice, or payment in lieu of notice, for willful misconduct as defined in Clause 29 - Disciplinary Procedures.
