Notification/Indemnification. The Employer shall notify the Association of any newly employed bargaining unit members prior to his/her first day of employment. The Association agrees to indemnify and save the Employer, including each individual school board member and administrator, harmless against any and all fees, awards, claims, demands, costs, suits, judgments or other forms of liability that may arise out of or by reason of, action by the Employer for the purpose of complying with this Agreement. If any provision of this Article is deemed invalid under federal or state law, said provision shall be modified to comply with the requirements of the law.
