Notification of Absence or Lateness. An employee who will be absent for his/her shift shall telephone their supervisor at least one (1) hour prior to their scheduled start time. This must be done daily unless the employee advises their supervisor that they will be absent for a prescribed period of time. In such circumstances and if requested by the Company, the employee shall provide to the Company documentation substantiating their absence as soon as possible. An employee will notify their supervisor as soon as possible if the employee will be late for their start time.

Should the Call-In Service not be functional, the employee shall telephone their Supervisor. This must be done daily unless the employee advises their supervisor the Human Resources Manager that they will be absent for a prescribed period of time. In such circumstances and if requested by the Company, the employee shall provide to the Company documentation substantiating their absence as soon as possible. An employee will notify their supervisor the Call-In Service as soon as possible if the employee will be late for their start time.
