Common use of Notification of Conviction Clause in Contracts

Notification of Conviction. Any employee who is convicted of a criminal drug or alcohol related violation must notify the City within five (5) calendar days of the conviction. A conviction, a plea of guilty, a plea of no contest, receiving a suspended imposition of a sentence, and a withheld judgment will all be considered the same as a conviction. This obligation to report applies even to deferred prosecutions and deferred impositions of sentence.
