Common use of Notification of Employee Status Clause in Contracts

Notification of Employee Status. The University agrees to notify the Union in writing, the name, start date, position, and location (if not casuals) within eight (8) working days from the first day of employment. The University agrees to notify the Union, in writing, within eight (8) working days of the date that a bargaining unit member termination or transfer date. The University agrees to grant technological access to union executive members (President, Chief Shop Xxxxxxx and Sergeant at Arms) pertaining to address, phone number, status of employment, rate of pay, name, start and seniority date of all CUPE members.
