  • Notification of Recall Notification of recall from layoff shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, deliverable to addressee only, to the employee's last known address. The notice shall give the employee a minimum of ten (10) calendar days within which to respond after the notice of recall has been mailed. Employees who decline recall or who, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, fail to respond within the time set for return to work, shall be presumed to have resigned and their name shall be removed from the seniority and preferred eligibility list.

  • Notification of Incidents If Contractor becomes aware of or has reasonable suspicion of a privacy incident or security incident regarding any State data, Contractor must report such incident to the State and the State Chief Information Security Officer as soon as possible, but no later than twenty-four (24) hours after such incident. The decision to notify the affected data subjects and the form of such notice following report of a privacy incident or security incident are the responsibility of the State. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Contract, Contractor will indemnify, hold harmless and defend the State and its officers, and employees for and against any claims, damages, costs and expenses related to any privacy incident or security incident involving any State data.   • Notification of Illness Nurses should notify the Medical Center of absence from work because of illness as far in advance as possible, but at least three and one-half (3 ½) hours before the start of the nurse’s shift. Repeated failure to give such minimum notification will result in reduction of otherwise payable sick leave for that shift by two (2) hours. Repeated failure as used in this section means more than twice every two years.

  • NOTICE OF INTENT TO SURRENDER Any other provision of this lease to the contrary notwithstanding, at least thirty (30) days prior to the normal expiration of the term of this Lease as noted under the heading TERM OF LEASE above, Tenant shall give written notice to Landlord of Tenant’s intention to surrender the residence at the expiration of the Lease term. If said written notice is not timely given, the Tenant shall become a month-to-month tenant as defined by applicable Georgia law, and all provisions of this Lease will remain in full force and effect, unless this Lease is extended or renewed for a specific term by written agreement of Landlord and Tenant. If Tenant becomes a month-to-month tenant in the manner described above, Tenant must give a thirty (30) day written notice to the Landlord of Tenant’s intention to surrender the residence. At any time during a month-to-month tenancy Landlord may terminate the month-to-month Lease by serving Tenant with a written notice of termination, or by any other means allowed by applicable Georgia law. Upon termination, Tenant shall vacate the premises and deliver same unto Landlord on or before the expiration of the period of notice.

  • Relationship to Award 2.1 This Agreement incorporates those terms of the National Electrical, Electronic and Communications Contracting Industry Award 1998 as at December 2005 (as amended) that are set out in Appendix K. A reference in this Agreement to the “Award” means the Award terms as set out in Appendix K.

  • Notification of Reemployment Opening 1. Any employee who is laid off and is subsequently eligible for reemployment shall be notified in writing by the District. Such notice shall be sent, with a “Proof of Service by Mail” form, to the last address given the District by the employee.

  • Notice of Intent When the President or representative has reason to believe that a suspension or termination should be imposed, the President or representative shall provide the employee with a written notice of the proposed action and the reasons therefor.
