Common use of ODFW Clause in Contracts

ODFW. Each employee shall be eligible to accrue and use compensatory time off through June 30 of each calendar year. The Agency shall notify each employee by January 1 of each calendar year of their accrued compensatory time off balances. In order to reduce an employee’s compensatory time off balance to one-hundred twenty (120) hours or below, the Agency may schedule the employee to take time off from March 1 to June 30 in the same calendar year. If the Agency cannot schedule the employee for the time off, the Agency shall pay down to one-hundred twenty (120) hours for the compensatory time off not used by June 30 of each calendar year.
