Overtime Rest Periods. If an employee is assigned one (1) or more hours of overtime work contiguous to his/her regular workshift or is called back within one (1) hour of his/her scheduled quitting time, the Agency will provide a fifteen (15) minute rest period after two (2) hours of overtime completed.

Overtime Rest Periods. Employee(s) requested to work overtime at the end of their regular shift shall receive a ten (10) minute paid rest period, at the overtime rate, before commencing the overtime. Employees required to work more than two (2) hours of overtime shall be given a twenty (20) minute paid rest period at the overtime rate before commencing the overtime.
Overtime Rest Periods. An employee shall receive a fifteen minute paid rest period after completion of their regular shift, and prior to starting overtime when it is anticipated that the duration will be at least one (1) hour. An employee shall receive an additional fifteen minute paid rest period after the employee has worked more than two (2) hours overtime. An employee shall receive an additional thirty minute paid rest period after the employee has worked more than four (4) hours overtime. It is anticipated that an employee will take the above mentioned rest periods where possible. If the employee is unable to take their rest period or lunch break, the employee will be paid for said breaks.
Overtime Rest Periods. A coffee break will be provided during the first half (1/2) of overtime provided the overtime worked is to exceed one half (1/2) hour but not if a meal period is scheduled as provided in 15.05.
Overtime Rest Periods. All employees shall receive rest periods for every three hours of continuous, or “call-in overtime” work performed by an employee, and the employee shall be entitled to a one-half hour rest period with pay. The rest period need not be taken at the end of the three hours of continuous overtime work, in the event that the Highway Superintendent and employee otherwise agree as to its use that day. When an employee is called in for overtime, or continuous overtime, the employee will receive one-half hour break after three hours of continuous work, including those instances where the overtime overlaps the normal workday.
Overtime Rest Periods. 35.1 An employee working overtime shall be allowed a crib time of 15 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee continues work after such crib time.
35.2 Provided that where an employee working five days a week is required to work overtime on a Saturday or a Sunday the first prescribed crib time shall if occurring between 10.00am and 1.00pm be paid at the employee’s ordinary hourly rate.
35.3 If the period of overtime is in excess of two hours an employee shall be paid an additional fifteen minutes at ordinary time in lieu of a crib break.
Overtime Rest Periods. Any bargaining unit employee who is required to work three (3) hours or more beyond his/her regularly scheduled tour of duty shall be entitled to a thirty (30) minutes paid rest period, to be taken at such time as patient care or work needs permits. If no such time occurs during the overtime period, he/she shall receive an additional one-half hour of pay.

If an employee is required to work more than two (2) hours overtime, will be granted an optional half hour unpaid meal period in addition to the above mentioned rest period. (Southern Alberta Only) Full-time employees working on their day off shall be compensated at double their regular hourly rate. The following days shall be paid general holidays: NEW YEAR'S DAY LABOUR DAY FAMILY DAY THANKSGIVING DAY GOOD FRIDAY REMEMBRANCE DAY VICTORIA DAY CHRISTMAS DAY CANADA DAY BOXING DAY Heritage Day MONDAY in AUGUST) And all other public holidays proclaimed by the Federal, Provincial or Municipal Governments; provided that all other major grocery stores close on any such holiday proclaimed. In the case of a General Holiday proclaimed by a City or Municipality, only those stores of the Employer in that City or Municipality shall be affected by the requirements of this Article. Provided works regular scheduled full work day before and after the holiday, unless absent due to bona fide illness or accident, employees regularly working full-time shall receive eight (8) hours pay for each such holiday. The hours of work for employees in a week when a holiday occurs and as are recognized, as referred to in Article (a), shall be reduced by eight (8) hours for each holiday so recognized. It is clearly understood that the Employer will be under no restrictions regarding days off, shift schedule and days of store operation during such weeks. All time worked in excess of the reduced basic work week shall be compensated for at the rate of time and one half ( It is understood the basic workweek shall be reduced by the number of hours proclaimed, recognized and observed. A half (112) day is understood to be four (4) hours.
