OFFICIAL TIME/ REPRESENTATIVES. Reasonable time during working hours will be granted to UNION representatives and aggrieved employees for preparation and attendance at hearings and meetings with management officials relative to UNION or employee grievances, negotiations and all other representational functions as provided by law. Reasonable time will also be allowed for UNION representatives to meet with employees to investigate and present grievances and other appropriate matters. There will be no restraint, interference, coercion or discrimination against UNION representatives because of the performance of these duties. Consultation between representatives of the UNION and of the EMPLOYER will normally be conducted during regular working hours with reasonable time being granted the employee's representative, without charge to leave, in connection with consultations or meetings.

  • Exclusive Representative The University recognizes UPTE-CWA 9119, which was certified by the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) on April 15, 1996 in SF-PC-1051-H as the sole and exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining with respect to wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment for all employees, excluding employees defined by XXXXX as managerial, supervisory and/or confidential and all student employees whose employment is contingent upon their status as students, in the bargaining unit.

  • Official Representatives 18. The Association may select as many as five (5) members of the Association to attend during regular duty or work hours without loss of compensation, meetings scheduled with the Civil Service Commission, the Department of Human Resources, the Director of Employee Relations, or designee, when such meetings have been scheduled for the purpose of meeting and conferring on matters within the scope of representation affecting such appropriate unit, and to participate in the discussions, deliberations, and decisions at such meetings.

  • Grievance Representative Employees presenting a grievance under Step 2 shall be represented by a representative of the Union.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the Xxxxxxx with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the Xxxxxxx, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Representative The employee, supervisor, or School Board may be represented during any step of the procedure by any person or agent designated by such party to act in his/her behalf.

  • Recipient’s Representative; Addresses 6.01. The Recipient’s Representative referred to in Section 7.02 of the Standard Conditions is the Minister of Finance.

  • RECOGNITION OF EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE Section 1. Recognition: In accordance with the PELRA, the school district recognizes Education Minnesota, Intermediate School District 917, Local 3904 as the exclusive representative of employees employed by the school district, as defined in Article III of this Agreement, which exclusive representative shall have those rights and duties as prescribed by the PELRA and as described in the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Representative Access (A) The state agrees that designated Union Representatives shall have access to state controlled premises where employees are employed.
