One-Year Appointment. The University shall appoint Part-Time Bargaining Unit Faculty Members who have completed probation and have taught an additional two (2) semesters at the University without a break in service of more than one (1) academic year to a term of one (1) academic year. Nothing in this one-year appointment shall require the University to assign a certain number of courses during the appointment or assign a course during each semester of the one-year appointment. A break in service of more than one (1) academic year will restart the clock for purposes of this section.
