Option B - Dedicated Bus Supplied by Town. The Town will purchase the dedicated bus through the Metrolinx Joint Procurement Program. The bus would be manufactured by Arboc Specialty Vehicles through Creative Carriage Ltd. The vehicle would be a new 8 metre low floor bus (Spirit of Freedom Model) with 20 seats and two (2) wheelchair placements, diesel powered, ramp equipped, electronic destination signs and with manufactures warranty. General information on a Town-provided dedicated bus is outlined in Appendix “B”. • The Town will sell the vehicle to the Contractor at cost for licensing and insurance purposes. • Contractor will be required to provide a two-way communication system and separate farebox system specified by the Town. • Maintenance of the dedicated vehicle will be done to manufacturer’s specifications. The contractor is responsible for all maintenance, repairs, indoor storage, daily cleaning and fueling to ensure the bus meets service needs. • Should the agreement be terminated before the end of the six (6) year term (seventy-two month), the Town will pay the contractor the pro-rated value of the bus for the remaining period of the agreement. The pro-rated value will be a straight line depreciated value of the initial capital cost before taxes. The contractor will transfer the ownership to the Town of Bracebridge and the vehicle; will be certified, meet emission regulations, all auxiliary equipment functioning and meet industry expectations for roadworthiness for the age of the vehicle.   • Bidder Supplied Samples The Commissioner reserves the right to request from the Bidder/Contractor a representative sample(s) of the Product offered at any time prior to or after award of a contract. Unless otherwise instructed, samples shall be furnished within the time specified in the request. Untimely submission of a sample may constitute grounds for rejection of Bid or cancellation of the Contract. Samples must be submitted free of charge and be accompanied by the Bidder’s name and address, any descriptive literature relating to the Product and a statement indicating how and where the sample is to be returned. Where applicable, samples must be properly labeled with the appropriate Bid or Contract reference. A sample may be held by the Commissioner during the entire term of the Contract and for a reasonable period thereafter for comparison with deliveries. At the conclusion of the holding period the sample, where feasible, will be returned as instructed by the Bidder, at the Bidder’s expense and risk. Where the Bidder has failed to fully instruct the Commissioner as to the return of the sample (i.e., mode and place of return, etc.) or refuses to bear the cost of its return, the sample shall become the sole property of the receiving entity at the conclusion of the holding period.

  • Shipping must be Freight On Board Destination to the delivery location designated on the Customer purchase order The Contractor will retain title and control of all goods until delivery is completed and the Customer has accepted the delivery. All risk of transportation and all related charges are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Customer will notify the Contractor and H-GAC promptly of any damaged goods and will assist the Contractor in arranging for inspection. The Contractor must file all claims for visible or concealed damage. Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, deliveries must consist only of new and unused merchandise.

Furniture contractors will not be responsible for the removal/moving of existing furnishings unless requested by the ordering entity. Contractors should verify site readiness prior to delivery. All deliveries will be made during normal working hours unless otherwise arranged with the ordering entity. Contractor will communicate any scheduling delays and/or changes immediately. Agencies will not be responsible for any freight damage, concealed or otherwise.

  • Payment Method Used for My Transaction Selecting a preferred payment method Paying online If you have chosen an online preferred payment method, it will be shown as the primary method of payment. If you split your payment between your reward balance and another payment method, PayPal and/or your issuer will choose the order and split of funds when processing a cancellation or refund. Each card issuer may treat chargebacks for purchases involving rewards redemption differently, please check with your card issuer for more information. If your card information changes (including if it is reissued with a new account number), you may need to update your PayPal wallet and re-enroll your card to continue using rewards.
