Common use of Other Involuntary Transfers Clause in Contracts

Other Involuntary Transfers. a. The Administration may transfer a teacher involuntarily provided, except in cases of emergency, such a transfer shall not be made prior to a meeting between the teacher and the Chief Human Resources Officer if such meeting is requested by the teacher within ten (10) calendar days of the transfer notification. At such meeting, the teacher shall be notified of the reasons for the transfer. b. In an emergency situation, for due and sufficient cause, the Administration may transfer a teacher involuntarily provided as much notice as possible shall be given the teacher. At the teacher's request, a meeting shall take place within five (5) calendar days of the teacher's notification of the transfer.
