Temporary Transfers. When an employee is assigned temporarily to perform the duties and assume the responsibilities of a higher paying classification in the bargaining unit, she shall be paid the rate in the higher salary range immediately above her current rate for all hours worked in the assignment.
Temporary Transfers. 12.01 An employee who is transferred to a different job classification within the bargaining unit shall be paid while so employed as follows:

An employee temporarily transferred from a lower to a higher rated job for a period in excess of one (1) hour, shall be paid the rate of the higher job plus any out-of-line differential to which he is entitled. Section 11.2 The Employer shall have the right to temporarily transfer employees irrespective of their seniority status from one job classification to another to cover for employees who are absent for the period of such absence. The Employer shall also have the right to temporarily transfer employees irrespective of their seniority status to fill jobs or temporary vacancies or take care of unusual conditions or situations or for training purposes, which may arise for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days unless this time is mutually extended. It is understood and agreed that any employee temporarily transferred in accordance with the provisions of this Section shall not acquire any permanent title or right to the job to which he is temporarily transferred but shall retain his classification from which he was transferred. If an employee is temporarily transferred as provided in this Section, to a job classification for which the rate range is lower than the rate range for his regular job classification, his hourly rate of pay shall not be reduced. If such temporary transfer is higher than the rate range for his regular job classification, he shall, receive the first step of pay applicable for the job that is higher than the employee’s present rate. Temporary Transfers. In the event an employee is assigned to a job other than that to which he/she is permanently assigned for a minimum of one (1) hour or more, he/she shall receive his/her own rate or the rate of the job to which he/she is assigned, whichever is the higher, for all hours worked in the assigned position.

Temporary Transfers. When an employee is temporarily transferred to a job, the transferred employee shall be paid the rate of pay for the job to which he/she has been transferred or the rate of pay he/she receives in his/her regular job, whichever is greater.

Temporary Transfers. 7.1 Employees sent out to temporarily fill vacancies at an outlying point or shop, or sent out on a temporary transfer to an outlying point or shop will be paid continuous time from time ordered to leave home station to time of reporting at point to which sent, straight time rates to be paid for straight time hours at home station and for all other time, whether waiting or travelling. If on arrival at the outlying point there is an opportunity to go to bed for five (5) hours or more before starting work, time will not be allowed for such hours.
