  • Safety Issues The Tenant will procure that in the carrying out of the Building Improvement Plan:

  • Authority of Contractor The Contractor shall have no right or authority, express or implied, to commit or otherwise obligate the Company in any manner whatsoever except to the extent specifically provided herein or specifically authorized in writing by the Company.

  • Doctorate The maximum number of total credit hours recognized for additional salary payment above a Doctorate degree, shall not exceed 3; provided however, the 3 credit hours must have been earned after the second semester of 2006-07 and are from a list of courses specifically approved by the Superintendent (or designee).

  • State Monopolies 1. The Parties shall progressively adjust any state monopoly of a commercial character so as to ensure that by the end of the fourth year following the entry into force of this Agreement, no discrimination regarding the conditions under which goods are procured and marketed will exist between nationals of the Parties.

  • Earthquake including land shock waves or tremors before, during or after a volcanic eruption;

  • District Insurance The District shall provide such insurance for the protection of employees as is required by RCW 28A.400.370 and upon annual renewal shall provide employees with a written summary of the coverage they have under the provisions of the District insurance policies. The District shall notify the President of any change in insurance coverage.

  • Claims Made Coverage If any part of the Required Insurance is written on a claims made basis, any policy retroactive date shall precede the effective date of this Contract. Contractor understands and agrees it shall maintain such coverage for a period of not less than three (3) years following Contract expiration, termination or cancellation.

  • Relations between Governments The provisions of this Agreement shall be applied irrespective of whether or not the Contracting Parties have diplomatic or consular relations.

  • Hazard Something that is potentially dangerous or harmful, often the root cause of an unwanted outcome.

  • Trade Contractor A Subcontractor who furnishes and installs materials according to the plans and specifications of this Project but does not include one who merely furnishes materials. See 1.1.9.49.
