Other National Certificates. Speech Language Pathologists and Psychologists who are working in those capacities and obtain and maintain a national certificate issued by their respective organizations deemed comparable to the NBPTS Certificate, shall receive an additional $2,000 per year. A social worker who has become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by completing the national test and certification process through the Department of Regulatory Agencies for the State of Colorado shall receive an additional $2,000 per year. Occupational Therapists who renew a national certification beyond their initial licensure shall receive an additional $2,000 per year after completing and maintaining their renewal. Any other Teacher (including any special service provider) who obtains and maintains a national certificate equitable to the certificates referenced herein may be awarded an additional $2,000 per year at the discretion of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Such similar certifications that have been approved include: • Board Certified Behavior Analyst; • Licensed Clinical Psychologist; • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; • Licensed Professional Counselor; and, • National Certified School Counselor (not National Certified Counselor). The procedures regarding submission when first qualifying shall be those applicable to educational advancement as set forth in Section 11.8 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Payments shall continue through the life of the certificate, ending the month following its expiration. Stipends are awarded for each qualified certification held. Payments to persons on a fractional contract shall be pro-rated, based on their percentage of a full- time contract.
