Other Than Normal Working Hours Non-prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, and any time Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. Day Shift The standard work day will consist of eight (8) hours worked between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with a designated thirty (30) minute lunch period. Starting and stopping times to be determined by mutual agreement between the Company and the shop employees.
Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
Full-Time Union or Public Duties The Employer shall grant, on written request, leave of absence without pay: (a) for employees to seek election in a municipal, provincial, or federal election, for a maximum period of ninety (90) days; (b) for employees selected for a full-time position with the Union or any body to which the Union is affiliated for a period of one (1) year; (c) for employees elected to a public office for a maximum period of five (5) years; (d) for an employee elected to the position of President or Secretary-Treasurer of the
Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours. (b) For Shiftworkers, double time and a half (inclusive of their shift loading) must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.
