Sunday work definition

Sunday work. Any work or tour which begins on Sunday.
Sunday work means any work performed where the relevant shift commences on a Sunday and where the major portion of that shift is performed on that Sunday;
Sunday work means any work performed where the relevant shift commences on a Sunday and where at least half of that shift is ordinarily performed on that Sunday.

More Definitions of Sunday work

Sunday work means nonovertime work performed by an employee during a regularly scheduled daily tour of duty when any part of that daily tour of duty is on a Sunday.

Sunday work means any ordinary hours worked between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday.
Sunday work means those hours between 12:00 midnight Saturday and 12:00 midnight Sunday. The termholiday work” means those hours between 12:00 midnight of the day preceding the holiday and 12:00 midnight of the holiday. The Company agrees that when employees are required to work a sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) consecutive day or any of the holidays set forth in the Central Regional Pick-up and Delivery Local Supplement, they shall be guaranteed a daily minimum of four (4) hours work. Any employee covered by this Article, being called back to work after having completed his day’s work, will be xxxxxx- xxxx a minimum of two (2) hours work. They shall also be allowed one (1) hours running time. All time to be computed as time and one-half (1 1/2) the regular rate of pay except Sunday and holidays, when it shall be computed at two (2) times the regular rate of pay. However, such employee shall not be compelled to return to work. Employees called in early and who work through their regular shift, shall not qualify for running time. The rate of pay of any employee covered by this article but not specifically mentioned in this article, who come under the jurisdiction of the Union, shall be agreed upon between the Employer and the Union.
