Our ability to increase the fees. We will review our fees during the course of your child's education (usually annually) and may increase them. Notice of an increase in the fees will be sent to you before the end of the penultimate term before the increase is to take effect. This will allow you time to consider the increase and, if you wish to withdraw your child from the School before the proposed increase is set to take effect, then you will have sufficient time to provide the required term's notice of withdrawal to the School under Clause 5.1 below.

If you provide this notice you will not need to give a term's notice or pay fees in lieu of notice and will be able to withdraw your child without being responsible for fees for the next term.

To ensure that fee increases are kept as low as possible, the Governing Body may delay a decision until they have all pertinent information at their disposal to assist in setting a revised fee regime.

If as a result of the proposed increase you will no longer feel able to pay the Fees in accordance with the terms of this Contract then you will be entitled to withdraw your child from the start of the following term without giving a term's notice or paying fees in lieu. However, if you wish to do this, you must give the School notice in writing of the withdrawal within twenty-one (21) days from the date when notice of the increase in Fees is given. If you provide this notice, you will be able to withdraw your child without being responsible for Fees for the next term. We recommend and encourage you to follow the following procedure:
(a) within seven (7) days of the date of the notice of the increase in Fees, notify the Bursar in writing of your inability to feel able to continue to pay the Fees after the proposed increase is due to take effect and request a meeting with the Bursar to discuss; and
(b) within fourteen (14) days of the date of the notice of the increase in Fees meet with the Bursar to discuss the matter in full (in person ideally, but over the telephone if necessary); and
(c) if you still wish to withdraw your child from the School from the start of the following term after your meeting with the Bursar, give the School notice in writing confirming the withdrawal within seven (7) days from the date of your meeting with the Bursar.

(ii) give you notice of an increase in fees which exceeds five per cent (5%) later than the last day of the penultimate term before the increase is to take effect, you will be entitled to withdraw your child from the start of the following term PROVIDED THAT you give the School notice in writing of the withdrawal within twenty-one (21) days from the date when notice of the increase in fees is given. If you provide this notice you will not need to give a term’s notice or pay fees in lieu of notice and will be able to withdraw your child without being responsible for fees for the next term; but
(iii) give you notice of an increase in fees which is both (i) less than five per cent (5%) and (ii) given later than the last day of the penultimate term before the increase is to take effect, then Clause
5.1 applies and you will need to provide either a term’s notice of your intention to withdraw your child from the School or pay fees in lieu of notice.
