Overnight Trading Clause Samples

The Overnight Trading clause governs the execution and settlement of trades that occur outside of regular market hours, typically during the night. It outlines the specific rules, limitations, and procedures for placing, processing, and settling trades made after the standard trading session has ended. For example, it may specify which securities are eligible for overnight trading, the hours during which such trading is permitted, and any additional risks or fees involved. This clause ensures that both parties understand the unique conditions and potential risks associated with trading outside normal hours, thereby promoting transparency and reducing the likelihood of disputes.
