Common use of Overtime (Article 14) Clause in Contracts

Overtime (Article 14). For employees working ten (10) hour tours, overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (11/2) the Employee's regular straight time hourly rate for all work performed in excess of 9.375 paid hours in a twenty-four hour period, it being understood that at the change of tour, there will normally be additional time required for reporting, which shall be considered as part of the normal daily tour, for a period of fifteen minutes duration. Should the reporting time extend beyond fifteen minutes, however, the entire period shall be considered overtime for the purposes of payment under Article 14.
