Common use of OVERTIME COMPENSATION & COMPENSATORY TIME Clause in Contracts

OVERTIME COMPENSATION & COMPENSATORY TIME. 130. Exclusive of part-time employees any time actually worked by an employee in excess of the normal workday or week shall be designated as overtime and shall be compensated at one-and-a-half (1 ½ ) times the base hourly rate. Time worked excludes paid time off except for fixed holidays. For work between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the base hourly rate shall include the night shift differential (as set forth in Article III.C.).

For employees on alternate work schedules, the normal work day consists of the number of hours the employee is regularly scheduled to work. Time worked excludes paid time off except for fixed holidays. For work between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the base hourly rate shall include the night shift differential (as set forth in Article III.C.).
