Overtime Day Workers. For all work outside the ordinary working hours, overtime shall be paid to a day worker at the rate of time and a half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter until completion of the overtime work. Provided that where a day worker is given notice to work overtime immediately following the normal hours, and that overtime is cancelled after the employee commences that overtime, the employee shall be paid a minimum of one hour's ordinary pay for that overtime.
Overtime Day Workers. 6.3.1.1 Except as provided in clauses 6.3.1.3 and 6.3.1.4, all work done by day workers before or after the usual time of beginning or ending work or outside the ordinary hours of work will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours on any one day and at the rate of double time thereafter, such double time to continue until the completion of the overtime work. For the purposes of this clause ordinary hours will mean the hours of work fixed in an establishment in accordance with clauses 6.1.1 or 6.1.2 or clause 6.4.
6.3.1.2 The ordinary hourly rate will be used when computing overtime payments in this clause. In the case of casual employees, the hourly rate prescribed in 4.3.2.2 will be used.

Overtime Day Workers. 2.10.1 All overtime worked on any day other than a Sunday or a Public holiday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

Overtime Day Workers. General Requirement and Approval
a) ElectraNet can require an Employee to work reasonable overtime.
b) Approved overtime is payable when an Employee works outside standard working hours. For Employees working under flexitime arrangements, overtime: • May be paid where an Employee has worked more than 7.5 hours on a normal working day (irrespective of their finishing time), and therefore may be eligible for overtime. • Will be paid when directed to work before the earliest starting time and/or after the latest finishing time (for example, before 7.00 a.m. and after 7.00 p.m.). • Overtime must be authorised and approved by an ElectraNet officer with the appropriate delegated authority.
Overtime Day Workers. (a) The employer may require any employee to work reasonable overtime at overtime rates, and such employee shall work overtime in accordance with such requirement. No overtime shall be worked without the prior approval of the employer.
(b) For all time worked in excess of the ordinary hours of work the following payments shall be made:
(i) Monday to Friday inclusive - time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter;
(ii) Saturday - time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter;
(iii) Sunday - double time;
(iv) public holidays - double time and one half.
(c) Unless the period of overtime is one and a half hours or less, an employee before starting overtime shall be allowed a meal break of 20 minutes which shall be paid for at ordinary rates. An employer and an employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that no employee shall be required to work more than five hours without a break for a meal. An employee required to work for more than two hours without being notified on the previous day or earlier that he/she will be so required shall either be supplied with a meal by the employer or paid $5.00 in lieu thereof. No organisation of employees shall in any way directly or indirectly be a party to or be concerned in any ban, limitation, or restriction on the working of overtime as prescribed by this clause. The calculation of the overtime penalty prescribed in subclause (b) hereof in the case of an employee in receipt of a loading in lieu of personal leave, annual leave and public holidays shall be based upon the relevant agreement rate.
(d) Time-in-Lieu of Overtime Where there is agreement between the employer and employee, time-off-in-lieu of overtime may be taken at the appropriate penalty equivalent. Such agreement may be discontinued by mutual consent of both parties or at the request of one such party. Provided that if the time off is not granted within 28 days of the overtime being worked, the actual number of hours of overtime worked shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate, unless agreement is otherwise reached. An arrangement in writing under paragraph (a) of this sub-clause shall be signed by the employer and a copy kept on the employees employment file.

Overtime Day Workers. 25.1.1 All full time, part-time, casual employees who work outside or in excess of the ordinary hours of work shall be deemed to be overtime and must be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.
Overtime Day Workers. (a) A Day Worker who is required to work additional hours beyond their rostered hours, outside of their spread of hours or in excess of the rostering principles in clause 9.2 for full-time Day Workers and 9.3 for part-time Day Workers, will be entitled to the following additional payments: Monday to Friday • 150% for the first 3 hours and 200% thereafter Saturday • 150% for the first 3 hours; and 200% thereafter, with a minimum payment equivalent to 4 hours at the Ordinary Hourly Rate. Sunday • 200% with a minimum payment equivalent to 4 hours at the Ordinary Hourly Rate. • 200% applies to all continuous work commencing on a Sunday but finishing on the following day, provided the following day is not a public holiday. (b) Overtime rates not paid in addition to or cumulative with any other penalty rates, overtime rates, or loadings in this Agreement.
