OVERTIME DUTY FOR OTHER THAN. CALLBACK" SITUATIONS An employee who is requested by an Officer in charge to continue on duty after the completion of his regular shift or to commence duty prior to and extending into the starting time of his regular shift will be compensated at time and one half (1-1/2) the employee's regular rate of pay for the additional time worked. The Fire Chief or designate may, at his discretion, allow time off regular working hours in lieu of overtime payment when requested by the employee. Such time shall be calculated at appropriate overtime rates.
