Common use of Overtime Pay and Xxxx Rates Clause in Contracts

Overtime Pay and Xxxx Rates. The overtime work assumes the Security Guard and/or Fire Safety/EAP Director has worked an eight (8) hour day or forty (40) hour week for the Authorized User. If a Security Guard and/or Fire Safety/EAP Director is performing work for more than one Authorized User, the Contractor shall inform each of the Authorized Users of the Security Guard and/or Fire Safety/EAP Director’s schedule and actual hours worked so that all parties are aware of when the Security Guard or Fire Safety/EAP Director will reach eight (8) hours a day or forty (40) hours a week worked and at what point overtime rates would begin. The Contractor is responsible for scheduling to ensure no Security Guard and/or Fire Safety/EAP Director is working shifts which would require the payment of overtime, unless an Authorized User either:
