Paid Leave at Termination. Probationary employees who terminate prior to completing his or her probationary period shall not be entitled to cash compensation for hours accrued. Regular employees shall be entitled to one hundred percent (100%) of the total hours accrued up to a maximum of 200 hours. Employees may not take vacation after having provided notice of termination of employment. In the event of death, compensation for accrued leave shall be paid in the same manner that salary due to the decedent is paid.
