Parent/Community Goals Sample Clauses

Parent/Community Goals. Point of Discovery School will proactively seek parental involvement by identifying experts in the community to participate in Learning Expeditions. Parents observe and participate in classroom activities, contribute to planning expeditions, attend student–led conferences, and participate in Celebration of Learning activities that follow each expedition. Surveys will be developed by Point of Discovery School to target community leaders, current families, alumni, staff, prospective parents, and home-school students and families. Surveys will seek to gauge the level of support, the interest in the instructional method, and the outcomes of students who participated in EL Education. The parent goals and objectives are connected to the Point of Discovery School Parent Handbook as directed under the Point of Discovery School Governance Crew.
