Part-Time Teachers’ Salary and Benefits. It is understood and agreed that part-time teachers (i.e., for those employed 50% or more full-time equivalency) shall have their salary and other benefits, except for health insurance, prorated according to the extent of their full-time equivalency. The Board shall contribute towards the cost of a part-time teacher’s individual health insurance premium at a proration of the Board’s contribution towards the cost of a full-time teacher’s individual health insurance premium determined by the extent of such part-time teacher’s full-time equivalency, but only should such teacher both desire to participate and pay his/her remaining share of the costs of the full individual health insurance premium.
