Common use of Past Service Clause in Contracts

Past Service. ‌ (a) Past Service as defined in Article 12.03 is and will continue to be used in the calculation of pay in addition to an employee’s qualification pay. (b) Past service in a Ministry of the Government of British Columbia will not be considered a part of emergency health services seniority. Subject to the Public Sector Pension Plans Act, new employees of the Employer may receive credit for pensionable service with their previous employer.
