Patient journey Sample Clauses

Patient journey. The dermatology outpatient clinic offers first echelon medical care as well as second and third echelon medical care. This means that patients can make an appointment at the dermatology department on their own initiative or on a referral. Furthermore, if patients return to the clinic with a problem that belongs to another specialism, it is obvious that the patient will be scheduled for an appointment with a different doctor. On the evening of the day the appointment was made, the patient receives a confirmation email that states the date and time of their appointment. Attached is the appointment letter that contains all instructions on what to do when coming to the hospital.
