Common use of Pay on the Day of Injury Clause in Contracts

Pay on the Day of Injury. An employee injured at work shall be paid for the full day of the injury which he/she otherwise would have worked if he/she does not work because of the injury on the advice of a medical doctor or by decision of the Company. Such payment shall be on a straight-time basis at his/her then current rate of pay. The Company will provide transportation if necessary.

Pay on the Day of Injury. An employee injured at work shall on the job will be paid for the full hours lost receiving medical care on the day of he was injured at his straight time hourly base rate, plus any overtime premium and applicable shift differential. In cases where the injury which he/she otherwise attending doctor thinks the employee should not return to work and finish out the workday, he shall be paid in accordance with the above for all hours he would have worked if he/she does not work because of the injury on the advice of a medical doctor or by decision of the Company. Such payment shall be on a straight-time basis at his/her then current rate of pay. The Company will provide transportation if necessarythat day.

Pay on the Day of Injury. 16.01 An employee who is injured at during working hours while properly performing his/her duties of employment and who is sent home from work by the Company or by a physician shall be paid for the full time lost on the day of the injury which he/she otherwise would have worked if he/she does not work because of the injury on the advice of a medical doctor or by decision of the Company. Such payment shall be on a straight-time basis was injured at his/her then current regular straight-time hourly rate exclusive of pay.
