Grievance Time Limits. A grievance must be filed in writing within thirty (30) calendar days of the event giving rise to the concern or the date the event became known or should have become known to the employee. Time limits set forth in the following may only be extended by mutual written agreement between the Employer and the Union. Grievances regarding employee compensation shall be deemed to have occurred at the time payment is made, or at the time when the payment was due but not made if that is the contention. Grievances over an employee’s eligibility for a benefit shall be deemed to have occurred at the time when such employee benefit eligibility decision was made by Employer. Failure of the Employer to comply with the time limits set forth in the grievance procedure shall allow the employee or Union to advance the grievance to the next step of the grievance procedure within the time frames specified herein. Time limits are important. Failure of an employee or the Union to file a grievance or a written grievance as defined in this Section in a timely basis, or to timely advance such a grievance, in accordance with the time limits set forth in the grievance procedure, will constitute a formal withdrawal of the grievance by the employee and the Union.
Grievance Time Limits. Time limits set forth in the following steps may only be extended by mutual consent of the parties. Employees may, at their sole discretion, be represented by a Union xxxxxxx or representative at any step of the grievance procedure. Failure of the Employer to comply with time limits set forth in the grievance procedure shall result in the grievance being automatically elevated to the next step of the grievance procedure without any action necessary on the part of the employee, provided, however, arbitration must be specifically requested by the Union. Failure of an employee to file a grievance on a timely basis or to timely advance a grievance in accordance with the time limits set forth in the grievance procedure will constitute a formal withdrawal of the grievance by the employee and the Union.
Grievance Time Limits. All appeals of duly filed grievances not submitted by the MPSO or employee (hereinafter referred to as "member"), within the time limit specified, shall be termed abandoned grievances and as such shall be considered as being resolved in favor of the City and not subject to provisions of this CONTRACT ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURE. By mutual agreement, the parties may waive any of the steps contained in this CONTRACT ENFORCEMENT PROCEDURE.
Grievance Time Limits. 4.6.1 The time limits in this Article may be extended by the mutual consent of the parties to the grievance. For purposes of this sub-clause, the time limits may be extended:
Grievance Time Limits. A. The time limitations set forth in this Article are fundamental to grievance processing. No grievance shall be accepted by the University unless it is submitted or appealed within the time limits set forth herein. Any grievance not initiated or advanced to the next step within the time limits specified herein shall be considered settled on the basis of the last answer by the University. The University shall respond at each level. Through written mutual agreement between the University and Local 6070, time limits may be extended at any juncture during the grievance process.
Grievance Time Limits. 20.4.1 The time limits set forth in this section shall be strictly enforced except that time limits may be waived by mutual written consent of both parties. Requests for a waiver of time limits shall be responded to in a timely manner.

Grievance Time Limits. The District will not process a grievance that is presented by a Unit Member forty-five (45) days after the occurrence or alleged occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance or forty-five (45) days after the Unit Member should reasonably have known of the event.
Grievance Time Limits. 8.01 Grievances not appealed from one step to another within two (2) working days through Step II, and five (5) working days between Step II and Step III or Step III and Step IV, shall be considered as having been adjusted to the satisfaction of the employee and the Union, and shall not be eligible for further appeal. The time limits referred to above, as well as time limits referred to in the Grievance Procedure, may be extended by mutual agreement. Grievances not answered by the Company between Steps I and Step II within the required time may be appealed to the next step by the Union. Grievances not answered by the Company within the required time from Step II through Step IV shall be considered as having been resolved in favour of the employee and the Union.
