Payment Difficulties and Financial Hardship. This clause only applies to Residential Customers. If you let us know that you are experiencing Financial Hardship or Payment Difficulties, then within 3 Business Days we will assess your situation and if we agree we will offer you:  additional time to pay a xxxx;  an instalment plan with no fees or interest;  the right to have a xxxx redirected to a third party;  information about government concessions and assistance and about independent financial counselling services. However, if you have had 2 instalment plans cancelled due to non-payment in the last 12 months then we will not offer you another instalment plan unless we are satisfied that you will comply with it.

Payment Difficulties and Financial Hardship. This clause only applies to Residential Customers. If you let us know that you are experiencing Financial Hardship or Payment Difficulties, then within 5 Business Days we will assess your situation and if we are unable to undertake such an assessment within 5 Business Days, we will refer you to a relevant consumer representative to make the assessment. If the assessment indicates that you are experiencing Financial Hardship or Payment Difficulties, we will offer you alternative payment arrangements, which will include, at the minimum: • additional time to pay a bill; and • an instalment plan with no fees or interest. If you are experiencing Financial Hardship, we will also advise you of: • the right to have a bill redirected at no charge to a third party; • payment methods available to you; • available concessions and how to access them; • different types of tariffs available to you; • independent financial counselling services and relevant consumer representatives available to assist you; and • the availability of any other financial assistance and grant schemes and how to access them. However, if you have had 2 instalment plans cancelled due to non- payment in the last 12 months then we will not offer you another instalment plan unless we are satisfied that you will comply with it.

  • Financial Hardship Must include verification appropriate to the circumstance and must demonstrate a loss of income that has occurred since the cancellation deadline as stated in Section III C. The Licensee must submit a copy of the current academic year financial aid award summary for evaluation. Students must show that they have exhausted all viable options, including taking out student loans.
