Payment for Unused Sick Leave/Upon Death of a Member. The City shall pay upon non-job related death of an employee who has had ten (10) years of service with the City, payment equal to twenty percent (20%) of employee’s total accumulated sick leave balance, and an employee who has had twenty (20) years of service with the City, payment equal to thirty percent (30%) of employee’s accumulated sick leave balance, and an employee who has twenty-five (25) years of service with the City, payment equal to fifty percent (50%) of the accumulated sick leave balance earned with the City. In the event of a job-related death or total permanent disability as determined under Workers' Compensation (NRS Chapters 616/617 in effect on the date of the determination), the City shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the accumulated sick leave balance to employee’s beneficiary or estate. The payment shall be computed at the employee's base hourly rate of compensation at the time of the death or total permanent disability.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.

  • Vacation Credits Upon Death Earned but unused vacation entitlement shall be made payable, upon termination due to death, to the employee's dependent, or where there is no dependent, to the employee's estate.

  • Payment of Annual Leave on Termination On the termination of their employment, an employee will be paid their untaken or pro-rata annual leave.

  • Payment Upon Death When an employee dies, any and all accrued, unused vacation leave to his/her credit shall be paid to the surviving spouse. In the event that the employee has no surviving spouse, said unused vacation leave shall be paid to the employee's estate. Such payment shall be paid at the employee's hourly rate of pay at time of death in a lump sum (less applicable withholding), less any amounts owed by the employee to the City.
