Payment in Absence of Named Beneficiary. When an employee fails to designate a beneficiary of his/her terminal leave benefits, the Employer shall pay the terminal leave benefits provided for in Article 13.1(A) as follows:

Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.
Notification of Absence To be entitled to payment in accordance with this clause the employee shall meet the following criteria:
Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.
