Payroll Withholding Sample Clauses

Payroll Withholding. All payments of Base Salary, incentives, bonuses, Severance Benefits and other compensation payable to Executive pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise shall be subject to the customary withholding for income taxes as determined appropriate by the Company, and shall be subject to other withholdings or deductions as required with respect to such compensation paid by a corporation to any employee.

Payroll Withholding. Any and all payments due to Employee under this Agreement shall be reduced by income tax withholding and any other applicable payroll withholdings as required by law.
Payroll Withholding. Since deacons are considered self-employed for Social Security purposes, no Social Security or Medicare taxes should be withheld from their checks (additionally, no Social Security or Medicare wages should be included on their W-2s). Deacons are also exempt from normal income tax withholding. However, deacons may enter into a voluntary agreement with their employer to have both federal and state income tax withheld. The basic form used for such an agreement is Internal Revenue form W-4. Deacons who have income taxes withheld from their paychecks should have enough taken out to cover any self- employment taxes that will be due. Deacons that do not have income taxes withheld from their checks should make estimated quarterly payments to both the federal and state revenue agencies.

Payroll Withholding. Pay as and when due in connection with any wages payable by Borrower or any Subsidiary of Borrower: (a) to the United States and to the State of California, and to each other taxing authority to which payment is due, in accordance with applicable law, all taxes and other amounts required to be withheld from wages paid with funds of (or provided for that purpose by) Borrower or any Subsidiary of Borrower (determined, in the case of nonimmigrant recipients of such wages, whether such recipients were classified for purposes of United States immigration law as "A9", "A09", or otherwise, as if such employees were residents of the United States); and (b) to the person or entity to whom such funds are to be remitted (in accordance with applicable law, any applicable agreement or as otherwise required), all other amounts required to be withheld from, or paid with respect to, wages paid with funds of (or provided for that purpose by) Borrower or any Subsidiary of Borrower, including, without limitation, payments in respect of union dues, medical insurance or union medical contributions and disability insurance.
Payroll Withholding. 11.1 It is agreed that the Township, in its sole discretion, may or may not offer payroll deduction plans or other payroll-related services. Except for funds deducted for the pension plan, it is also understood that the Township shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any risks associated with a payroll deduction plan or other payroll-related service or the acts of any other institution or group involved in such deduction or service. 11.2 The Association shall submit to the Township a dated, signed consent by its members who are, or hereafter may be residents of Philadelphia who shall have agreed to having payroll deductions made for Philadelphia Wage Taxes commencing at the earliest practicable date. Such consents as well as any other documents and procedures involved, are subject to meeting the requirements of the City of Philadelphia and also must be acceptable to the Solicitor of the Township. 11.3 It being understood and agreed that the foregoing withholding is being implemented at the request of the Association and its members, and that the Township shall be acting solely in a ministerial capacity for the benefit of the Association members, the Township shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any depreciation, loss of values, selection of purchases or investments, or the acts of any institution or group.
