Common use of Peer Assessment Clause in Contracts

Peer Assessment. An employee has the right to have the evaluator assign a peer to observe/visit the employee’s teaching and to have an assessment of that observation/visitation included as part of the employee’s annual report. A department or unit may require peer observation/visitation, which shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of this subsection. In these cases, the peer may be a colleague within the University, a retired colleague, or a colleague in the same discipline from another university.
