Common use of Performance Increments Clause in Contracts

Performance Increments. 24.09 (1) An employee holding a position for which there is a minimum and maximum rate of pay may be granted increases in pay until he/she reaches the maximum for the position. Such pay increases are dependent on satisfactory performance of the duties of the position by the employee, and shall not be granted to the employee until his/her Deputy Head certifies to the Employer that the employee is so performing the duties of his/her position.
