Permanent Shift Change. a. 1. A permanent shift change is defined as a change in the hours of work in a day and/or the days of work in a week where such change shall be for a duration greater than thirty (30) calendar days. Permanent shift changes shall be made in accordance with Article 17 (Post and Bid) Bid provisions, of this agreementAgreement. For short shift changes and temporary shift changes as described above, notice requirements shall not be required in the event that the change is necessitated by an event that poses immediate danger to life or property or as a result of a natural disaster.
