Permissive Probation. 7/6/1 An employee who transfers between departments as a result of receiving a written notice of being placed At Risk of Layoff or a written notice of Xxxxxx and is placed on a permissive probationary period will have the right to return to his/her original position, if available, or one of like nature for which the employee is qualified, if the employee’s permissive probation is terminated by the Employer prior to completion for performance reasons. If no vacancy exists, the provisions of Article 8/4/1 shall be invoked.
