PERSONAL APPLIANCES a. Assistance with personal items such as denture care, assistance with hearing aids and eyeglasses, and help with the application of certain braces, splints, slings, and prostheses is determined on a case by case basis, based on the assessment of the ASAP RN. b. With the approval of the ASAP RN, consumers who have been using artificial limbs, splints, or braces on a continuing basis, may receive assistance with the application only if the consumer is: mentally alert, has received instruction and understands the correct application of the appliance, and the tension strap has been marked by the primary nurse or therapist to indicate the correct degree of tension. In the case of an arm or leg prosthesis, the residual limb must be well healed and shaped. c. Care of or insertion of contact lenses and application of new braces, splints, prostheses or slings is not allowed.
PERSONAL APPLIANCES. 5.1. The use of personal electrical appliances and including heaters, toasters and snack-witch machine is prohibited unless specifically authorized. 5.2. Approved appliances, such as kettles, must meet safety standards and be used in designated areas only. 5.3. Unauthorized appliances may be confiscated, and disciplinary action may be taken.

No student’s grade shall be changed without a conference between the student’s teacher and the administrator. After the conference, the teacher will be notified, in writing, of the administrator’s decision. In the event the student’s teacher is not available for a conference, the administrator will notify the teacher in writing of any changes in a grade.

  • Personal Vehicles A. Employees who are directed by the Employer to use a personal vehicle for official state business shall do so in accordance with state fleet policies established by the Department of Budget and Management. When circumstances make it impractical for an employee to obtain a state vehicle on the day the vehicle will be used, such employee may request the vehicle at the end of the prior day’s shift, and the appointing authority shall make reasonable accommodation, consistent with the efficient operation of the unit, to accommodate such request. If such request cannot be granted, the employee may use his/her own vehicle and be reimbursed at the full rate in accordance with state fleet policies.

  • Personal Safety a. I will not post personal contact information about myself or other people. Personal contact information includes names, personal physical addresses, email addresses, work addresses, school addresses, and telephone numbers b.   • Personal Freedom 20.1 The personal life of an Employee is not an appropriate concern for the attention of the Board except as it may directly inhibit the Employee from performing properly his/her assigned functions during the workday.
