Common use of Personal Reasons Clause in Contracts

Personal Reasons. a) Approved absence without pay may be granted for a maximum of thirty (30) days for any reason approved by Human Resources not covered by Section 1 above with no loss of accrued seniority. b) An employee who returns to a previously held bargaining unit position in a different classification will regain any accrued classification seniority as long as no break in service in the bargaining unit has occurred.
