Personnel Training. A. Training and Continuing Education Program Requirements: 1. Contractor shall maintain approval in Stanislaus County as an EMS Continuing Education Provider (CE provider), as defined in California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 9, Chapter 11: a. Contractor must provide a comprehensive training/education program for all paramedic and EMT personnel. Joint training sessions for ambulance and fire service first responders are encouraged. Such a program shall be subject to approval by MVEMSA and include, but not be limited to: i. Advanced training for EMT staffing ALS ambulances; ii. Orientation to the Stanislaus County EMS System; iii. Customer service and cultural sensitivity; iv. Pre-accreditation field evaluation for paramedics; and v. Post-accreditation education, supervision, evaluation.
