PIPE COVERING Sample Clauses

The PIPE COVERING clause specifies the requirements and standards for insulating or protecting pipes within a construction or engineering project. It typically outlines the types of materials to be used for covering pipes, the methods of installation, and any necessary thickness or fire-resistance ratings. For example, it may require that all hot water pipes be wrapped with a certain grade of insulation to prevent heat loss and condensation. The core function of this clause is to ensure that pipes are adequately protected for safety, efficiency, and compliance with building codes, thereby reducing energy loss and preventing potential damage or hazards.
