Thermal Insulation. Buildings must be maintained to ensure that the design performance of the building envelope is maintained.
Thermal Insulation. The calculated average 'U' value for external walls, floor and roof excluding any door and window shall comply with the Building Regulations Part L2A.
Thermal Insulation. Thermal insulation of all chilled water and hot water piping as well as other equipment, flues, ductwork, etc is provided as required. Chilled water and horizontal rain water pipework in return air ceiling voids is insulated and is provided with a vapour barrier. Services piping exposed to atmosphere is electrically trace heated and insulated.
Thermal Insulation. A. Prime existing concrete deck and vertical substrates with asphalt primer at a rate of 1 gallon per 100 sq. ft.
Thermal Insulation. The Contractor shall supply and install all thermal insulation necessary for the thermal efficiency of the plant and safety of personnel and to meet the standards of good industrial practice. Thermal insulation shall be applied to all surfaces which will reach or exceed a temperature of 55oC (metallic) or 60oC (non metallic) under operating conditions. All insulation materials used shall be asbestos free. Insulation applied to pipework, machinery, equipment, and ducting shall be clad with aluminium which should be protected internally by a factory-applied coating and provide complete weatherproofing where appropriate.
Thermal Insulation. Thermal insulation shall be provided based on an economical evaluation comparing the required capital cost for insulation to the value of lost heat during the life of the facility. Indoor cold water lines will be provided with anti-sweat insulation where required.
Thermal Insulation. Subject to clauses 3(8), 3(9) and 3(10) and JTC's and the Landlord's prior written consent, to provide thermal insulation to the floor, ceiling and the walls of the Premises and heat extract systems if the Tenant's activities results or may result in;
Thermal Insulation. Tenant may install, as part of its Initial Alterations or otherwise, insulation in the Premises on the inside of the exterior walls and windows, subject to applicable Legal Requirements and Landlord’s review and approval of plans, equipment, methods and materials, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed, except to the extent such installations would be visible from outside of the Premises, in which event Landlord’s approval may be granted or withheld in Landlord’s sole discretion. Thermal Insulation. Lofts and pipework must be insulated to current standards. All hot water tanks should be foam lagged or have a good quality cylinder jacket, which has been properly fitted. All water pipes that are considered vulnerable to damage by frost must be adequately protected with lagging. All doors, windows, letterbox etc, to be draught proofed.
