Placement on Salary Schedule Subsequent to Leave/Resignation. 7.16.1. If a unit member resigns his/her position subsequent to having been granted a leave of absence for one year, the Board may, within a two-year period of the initial granting of the leave and if a vacancy exists in the unit member’s subject area, restore the unit member to the salary placement one step higher than that received during his/her last full year of service.
