PLANT COMMITTEE. 19.01 Plant Committee of five (5) members, includes the President and the Vice President and three (3) shop stewards, of B.C.T.G.M. Local 388 G will be appointed by the Union to meet and bargain with the Company on matters properly arising from time to time in administration of this Agreement. 19.02 Members of the Committee shall be selected in accordance with the constitution of the Union. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances of employees, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate such employees for the time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, at their regular rate of pay. Aforementioned meetings will be held during regular working hours Monday through Friday. 19.04 The Union agrees to supply the Company with the names of the employees constituting the plant committee and will keep a list up to date at all times. 19.05 A copy of all notices posted on the bulletin board concerning the employees will be placed in the Union Letter Box. 19.06 Elected Officers of the Union who may be called upon to transact business for the Union which requires their absence from duty with the Company shall, upon application and twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to the proper representative of the Company, be allowed to absent themselves for sufficient time to transact such business with no pay. 19.07 In the future any matters agreed upon between the Company and the Union shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and become a part of this Agreement and attached hereto. 19.08 Plant Committee members required to be absent from their regular duties for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances and complaints shall notify their Team Leader, who shall arrange relief, if necessary. It is understood that only under emergency conditions shall a Team Leader refuse to grant permission to a Plant Committee member to leave his/her job for necessary Plant Committee member’s duties. It is agreed that Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from their duties for the length of time necessary to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their job.

(f) Plant committee members shall not be required to change shifts as long as there is work available which they are capable of performing. The plant chairperson may be moved from the second and/or third shift to the day shift if his job classification is no longer required on the bulletin board concerning the employees will be placed in the Union Letter Box2nd or 3rd shift. 19.06 Elected Officers of the Union who may be called upon to transact business for the Union which requires their absence from duty (g) The Negotiating Committee will meet with the Company shall, upon application and twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to the proper representative of the Company, be allowed to absent themselves for sufficient time to transact such business with no pay. 19.07 In the future any matters agreed upon between the Company and the Union shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and become a part of this Agreement and attached hereto. 19.08 Plant Committee members required to be absent from their regular duties for the purpose of investigating negotiating changes to and processing grievances and complaints shall notify their Team Leader, who shall arrange relief, if necessary/ or renewal of this Collective Agreement. It is understood that only under emergency conditions shall a Team Leader refuse to grant permission to a Plant Committee member to leave his/her job for necessary Plant Committee member’s duties. It is agreed that Plant The Company will pay the wages of the Negotiating Committee members for scheduled negotiation days on eight (8) hours per day (10 hours where applicable), ie. afternoon shift member. Committee members in the MOST system shall be paid their average wage or 125% whichever is less. These wages will be paid for days predominantly spent at the bargaining table and only absent themselves from their duties for the length of time necessary to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their jobup until conciliation commences.

PLANT COMMITTEE. 19.01 (a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select from the plant union membership, a Plant Committee composed of five not more than three (53) members, includes the President and the Vice President stewards and three (3) shop alternate stewards, one (1) to be assigned to each active shift. The committee shall meet monthly to maintain a harmonious relationship between management and labour. The committee shall be paid at their straight time hourly rate for attendance at sched- uled meetings held on Company premises. The Union Business representative may sit in on any and all such meetings. Notification of B.C.T.G.M. Local 388 G will be appointed by the Union Business representative shall be the re- sponsibility of the committeeperson. (b) Each member of the above committee shall have at least one (1) year of seniority with work- ing hours of the plant, subject to meet and bargain with prior notifica- tion to the Company. (c) The Union agrees to notify the Company on matters properly arising in writ- ing from time to time of the names of the mem- bers of the Plant Committee and the effective date of their appointment. (d) If the Union Xxxxxxx is absent from the Com- pany’s employment because of illness or leave of absence, the Company will recognize an al- ternate xxxxxxx on that shift. 4:02 The Union will notify the Company in writing of the name of the Union Business Representative. The Union Business representative shall be al- lowed to enter the Company’s Prince Road premises to deal with the administration of this Agreement, provided he does not interfere with the normal operation of the Company. Such en- try is limited to the normal working hours of the plant, subject to prior notification to the Company. 19.02 Members 4:03 For the purpose of layoff, the xxxxxxx shall be es- tablished on the seniority list as first man provided they have the necessary skills and qualifications. This will not apply to alternate stewards. 4:04 The Company agrees to pay Union Stewards at their regular rate of pay for a reasonable amount of time spent dealing with grievances in the plant during the Union Xxxxxxx’x regular working hours, and does not include time spent on grievances after they have reached the ar- bitration stage. The above procedure shall also apply to group grievances. 4:05 The Union recognizes and agrees that stewards as well as other employees have regular du- ties to perform. Stewards will notify their super- visor of the Committee department where they are respec- tively employed and shall be selected permitted during their working hours without loss of time or pay to attend to Union business requirements in- cluding but not limited to dues receipts, Work- ers Compensation issues, leaves of absence issues, and discussions with management, un- ion, and workers with complaints or grievances, subject to a maximum absence from their regu- lar duties of one (1) hour within the hours com- prising one working day. The time may be ex- tended with mutual agreement of the supervi- sor and xxxxxxx. (Such approval shall not be unjustly withheld.) Whenever, in accordance the opinion of the supervisor con- cerned more than a reasonable period of time shall have been taken by a xxxxxxx to accom- plish such business requirements the supervi- sor of the department to which the xxxxxxx is attached shall decline to approve payment to such xxxxxxx for such excess time. 4:06 The Company will verbally notify the Union through the Alternate Xxxxxxx, by telephone, or FAX prior to the suspension or discharge of a Xxxxxxx. The Company will confirm to the Union Busi- ness Representative such action in writing by registered mail, telegram or FAX machine. All Plant Commit- tee membersshall have seniority with and shall be regular employees of the Company during their term in office. The Union may elect or appoint two (2) stewards for the Distribution division and two (2) stewards for the manufacturing division and one (1) chief xxxxxxx. They may request representation of the CAW and/or the Local President to assist the Plant Committee with any matter properly arising out of this agreement. The Plant Committee will cooperate with the Company on matters properly arising from time to time in the administration of this Agreement. 19.02 Members 5.02 Union representatives shall request permission for time off the job to handle grievances and other union business related to this Collective Agreement. 5.03 The names of each of the stewards and the name of the Chairperson and members of the Plant Committee from time to time selected shall be selected given to the Company in accordance with writing and the constitution Company shall not be required to recognize any such xxxxxxx or committee person until it has been notified in writing by the Union of the Unionname of the same. 19.03 It is clearly understood A) For the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances purposes of employeesnegotiating and revising a new collective agreement, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate recognize a Negotiating Committee consisting of the Plant Union Chairperson, one (1) Xxxxxxx from each shift and the skilled trades representative, as established by the Union plus a representative from the CAW National Office and the Local 504 President. This time will be paid for by the Company. 5.05 The right of Union Representatives to leave their work without loss of pay to investigate or adjust grievances of personnel whom they represent, whether or not those personnel are in the Representative’s jurisdiction is granted on the following conditions: A) The employee's designated Representative is unavailable to address the employee's concern. B) The Representative shall obtain the permission of their supervisor before leaving their work which permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. C) The time off shall be devoted to the prompt handling of grievances, which may include meetings with management or the employee concerned in the grievance. D) The Company reserves the right to limit such employees for time if it deems the time spent in negotiating so taken to be excessive. 5.06 The Company agrees to provide a list of its supervisory staff to the Chairperson. This list will be updated every month by payroll if there are any changes. Instruction will be provided to the supervisors to cooperate with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending stewards to enable them to carry out the meetings provisions of the plant committee, at their regular rate of pay. Co-Chair will be defined within the responsibilities of the elected Union Health & Safety Representative. 5.08 The Chairperson of the Union will be paid by the Company for the length time he/she takes for the administration of this collective agreement in the Strathroy facility. If these hours are to exceed the normal working hours they must be authorized by the Operations Leader or designate prior to working. If the Chairperson is expected to be absent for three (3) days or more a substitution will be allowed under the following conditions.  The Chairperson will follow the leave of absence procedure as per Article 16.  For plant specific issues that require immediate attention. The Plant Leader or designate will determine if these issues warrant the substitution and this will not be unreasonably withheld. 5.09 The Company agrees to provide a Union office furnished with the following items: locking desk, two (2) filing cabinets, one (1) large filing cabinet, one (1) bookcase, one (1) bulletin board, one (1) table with four (4) chairs, two (2) telephones, three (3) computers, one (1) printer, one (1) on- line new fax-copy machine and one (1) paper shredder. 5.10 The Company agrees to provide the President of CAW Local 504 work on straight days as per their departmental shift schedule in the event he/she is an employee covered by this collective agreement. The Company agrees he/she will be provided space in the Union Office. 5.11 The Company recognizes the Union Plant Chairperson as a day shift employee as follows:  0 to 150 employees – 20 hours per week  151 employees and up – full time necessary The Plant Chairperson will function on a plant-wide basis. Daily work schedule to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their jobbe determined one week in advance.

The Company also acknowledges the Company on matters properly arising right of the Union to establish a Bargaining Committee consisting of not more than four (4) persons, consisting of the Chairperson, a Unifor Local 4207 Skilled Trades Bargaining Representative and two (2) employees from production who have served their probationary period, plus the President of Unifor Local 4207 and a Representative from the 5.02 The name and jurisdiction of each of the stewards and the names of the chairperson and members of the Plant Committee from time to time selected, shall be given to the Company in administration writing and the Company shall not be required to recognize any such xxxxxxx or committee person until it has been notified in writing by the Union of the name and jurisdiction of same. 5.03 The Company will post on the bulletin board and submit to the Union, a list of all members of its supervisory staff and instruct them to co-operate with the stewards in carrying out the terms and requirements of this Agreementagreement. This list will be updated as changes occur. 19.02 Members 5.04 The Union undertakes to secure from its officers, stewards and members their co-operation with the Company and with all persons representing the Company in a supervisory capacity, in the carrying out of the Committee terms and requirements of this agreement. 5.05 The right of Union Representatives to leave their work without loss of pay to handle grievances or other related union business of personnel whom they represent, whether or not those personnel are in the Union Representatives department is granted on the following conditions: a) The Union Representative shall obtain the permission of his/her Leader before leaving his/her work, which permission shall not be unreasonably denied. b) The time off shall be selected in accordance devoted to the prompt handling of grievances or other related union business, which may include meetings with management or the constitution of the Unionemployee(s) concerned. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances of employees, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the 5.06 The Company will compensate such employees pay Union Representatives on the Bargaining Committee for attending negotiations of this and the time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, next collective agreement at their regular normal hourly rate of pay. Aforementioned meetings The Company agrees to cover mileage expenses for days at negotiations. 5.07 The Plant Negotiating Committee will be held granted a regular shift of straight days for a maximum of 40 hours of preparation, as well as during regular working negotiations. This time will be paid for by the Company. 19.04 5.08 The Union agrees Committee will have the use of 2 Bulletin Boards in the Plant for Posting of Union notices such bulletin boards to supply be supplied by the Company with the names of the employees constituting the plant committee and will keep a list up to date at all timesCompany. 19.05 A copy of all notices posted on the bulletin board concerning the employees will be placed in the Union Letter Box. 19.06 Elected Officers 5.09 The Chairperson of the Union who may will be called upon paid by the Company for the time he/she takes for administration of this collective agreement. 5.10 The Company agrees to transact business provide a union office with a telephone, computer, printer, fax machine and office furniture for the exclusive use of the Union Committee. The Company agrees to provide basic computer training for the Union which requires their absence from duty with the Company shall, upon application and twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to the proper representative of the Company, be allowed to absent themselves for sufficient time to transact such business with no pay. 19.07 In the future any matters agreed upon between the Company and the Union shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and become a part of this Agreement and attached hereto. 19.08 Plant Committee members required to be absent from their regular duties for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances and complaints shall notify their Team Leader, who shall arrange relief, if necessary. It is understood that only under emergency conditions shall within a Team Leader refuse to grant permission to a Plant Committee member to leave his/her job for necessary Plant Committee member’s duties. It is agreed that Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from their duties for the length of reasonable time necessary to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their jobperiod.

PLANT COMMITTEE. 19.01 The Company will recognizea Plant Committee of five a maximum of eleven (11) employees elected by the Union in a manner determined by the Union, one of whom shall be the Chairperson. One of these Committeepersons shall be a Skilled Tradesman elected by the Skilled Trades and represent the same. Not more than three (3)members of the Committee shall meet with Management at any one time. Committeepersons shall be distributed as follows: per shift Foundry any shift Skilled Trades any shift Chairperson at large Committee. The Company will recognize two (2) Committeepersons subject to the following: a. Each Committeepersonshall be required to have at least one (1) year seniority. Each zone Committeepersonshall be selected from and shall represent the employees in the zone designated in accordance with the following: Zone Plant Zone Office The Company will also recognize fie (5) membersalternate Committeepersons, includes selected by the Union who will serve the place of the above Committeepersons in their absence from the plant due to illness, injury, vacation or approved leave of absence. A National Union representative and the President of Local may be present and participate in any meeting of the Plant Committee and the Vice President Company. The Union recognizes and agrees that Committeepersons have regular duties to perform in connection with their employment. Whenever the Plant Chairperson, Committeeperson or alternate Committeeperson has occasion to investigate or process a grievance, he must obtain prior permission from his own xxxxxxx and the xxxxxxx of the concerned. Such permissionwill be granted without unreasonable delay. The Plant Chairpersonshall be on steady day shift and will be provided with seven (7) paid hours per week to perform Union business. In the absence of the Plant Chairperson, the Acting Plant Chairperson shall be on steady day shift, provided it is for a period of fie (5) or more days. A meeting between management and the Committee shall be held within three (3) shop stewardsworking days after the request of either xxxxx for a meeting. A statement of all matters to be discussed shall be submittedwith the request. The time limit mentionedabove may be waived by mutual agreement subject to the availability of the parties. Committeepersons shall be paid while investigating or processing grievances or at any meeting with Management during working hours at their regular job rate and at their average hourly if an incentive worker, of B.C.T.G.M. Local 388 G will be appointed by the Union excluding overtime premiums. If it becomes necessary that Committeepersons are required to meet and bargain with the Company Management on matters properly arising from time to time in administration of this Agreement. 19.02 Members of the Committee shall be selected in accordance with the constitution of the Union. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances of employeesoff shift hours, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate such employees pay for the time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, these hours at their regular job rate exclusive of pay. This does not apply on time spent on such matters outside overtime, with the exception of regular working hours. (b) Whenever feasible, provided it doesn’t adversely impact on the Company’s ability to operate the plant or otherwise adversely affect other employees, the Company shall maintain at their regular rate of payleast one committeeperson on the day shift. This does not apply on time spent on such matters outside of regular working hours. The Company agrees to discuss matters relating to the administration of this Agreement with the Plant Committee. Meetings to be held on a weekly basis. Any amendments are to be duly signed, printed and complaints shall notify issued as part of this Agreement. 4.03 The National Representative of the Union and/or a representative of the Local may be present and participate in the meetings of the Company. 4.04 The Union recognizes and agrees that members of the Plant Committee have regular duties to perform in connection with the employment and agrees that such employees will not leave their Team Leaderregular duties without first obtaining the permission of their supervisor, who shall arrange relief, if necessaryand will give any reasonable explanation which may be requested with respect to such absences from duties and will report back to their supervisor when resuming their regular duties. It is understood that only under emergency conditions such permission will not be unreasonably withheld. Upon entering a department other than his own the Committee Member will inform the supervisor of the department the nature of the grievance he is investigating. Such time taken away from regular duties shall a Team Leader refuse to grant permission to a be without pay for any time spent in the negotiation of this Agreement or amendments thereto. Time spent by members of the Plant Committee member in meetings with the Company as set forth herein shall be without loss of pay provided the time spent is on the premises of the company during the regular working hours of such Committee Members. 4.05 The Plant Chairperson shall be full time posted to leave his/her job day shift and be paid at the Grade five 4.06 The Company agrees to provide the Union a lockable office, a four (4) drawer filing cabinet with lock to be placed in a mutually satisfactory location, a telephone and a computer for necessary Plant Committee member’s dutiese-mail, documentation and communication purposes only. The company shall be reimbursed for any long distance charges. 4.07 It is agreed that the Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from their duties for Chairperson or his alternate or the length union representative on the applicable shift will assist in the scheduling of time necessary to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their jobovertime distribution.

PLANT COMMITTEE. 19.01 21.1 The Company shall recognize the Union Plant Committee consisting of five (5) membersemployees, includes one of whom shall be Chairperson and one of whom shall be from the President Skilled Trades group. During a two shift operation, alternate Committeepersons can be appointed and will be recognized by the Company provided a list naming the alternates is given to the Company prior to being effective. It is understood that no more than five (5) Committeepersons shall be present at any meeting between the Company and the Vice President and three (3) shop stewards, of B.C.T.G.M. Local 388 G Union. Only employees having a regular status shall be eligible to serve as Committeepersons. The Company will pay the Plant Committee for all time spent in meetings called by or authorized by the Company provided such time occurs during their regular work hours. No payment will be appointed by the Union to meet and bargain with the Company on matters properly arising from time to time in administration of this Agreement. 19.02 Members of the Committee shall be selected in accordance with the constitution of the Union. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances of employees, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate such employees made for the time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, at "Collective Bargaining". Committeepersons may leave their regular rate of pay. This does not apply on time spent on such matters outside of regular working hours. Aforementioned meetings will be held during regular working hours Monday through Friday. 19.04 The Union agrees to supply the Company with the names of the employees constituting the plant committee and will keep a list up to date at all times. 19.05 A copy of all notices posted on the bulletin board concerning the employees will be placed in the Union Letter Box. 19.06 Elected Officers of the Union who may be called upon to transact business for the Union which requires their absence from duty with the Company shall, upon application and twenty-four (24) hours’ notice to the proper representative of the Company, be allowed to absent themselves for sufficient time to transact such business with no pay. 19.07 In the future any matters agreed upon between the Company and the Union shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, and become a part of this Agreement and attached hereto. 19.08 Plant Committee members required to be absent from their regular duties work for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances and complaints or settling disputes, without loss of pay, subject to the following conditions: (1) A Committeeperson shall notify their Team Leader, who shall arrange relief, if necessary. It is understood that only under emergency conditions shall a Team Leader refuse to grant obtain permission to a Plant Committee member to leave from his/her job supervisor before leaving his/her place of work. Such permission shall not unreasonably be denied. (2) No payment will be made to a Committeeperson for necessary the time spent by him/her for such purposes, unless it is during his normal hours of work. 21.2 The Chairperson of the Plant Committee member’s duties. It is agreed that and the President of the Local Union, if employed by the Company, shall, whenever possible work on the day shift during their respective terms of office. 21.3 The Company agrees for lay-off purposes, the Union Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from be retained in the employ of the Company during their duties respective terms of office, notwithstanding their position on the Seniority List so long as the Company has work available for which they are qualified and willing to perform. 21.4 A representative of the length National or Local Union shall be permitted time to interview an officer or committeeperson of time necessary the Local Union during working hours upon application to investigate the Plant Manager, Plant Superintendent or adjust Production Supervisor. 21.5 One (1) additional non-regular committee person will be recognized to act seasonally on a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their jobnon-preferred seniority basis.

PLANT COMMITTEE. 19.01 (a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select from the plant union membership, a Plant Committee composed of five not more than three (53) members, includes the President and the Vice President stewards and three (3) shop alternate stewards, one (1) to be assigned to each active shift. The committee shall meet monthly to maintain a harmonious relationship between management and labour. The committee shall be paid at their straight time hourly rate for attendance at scheduled meetings held on Company premises. The Union Business representative may sit in on any and all such meetings. Notification of B.C.T.G.M. Local 388 G will be appointed by the Union Business representative shall be the responsibility of the committeeperson. (b) Each member of the above committee shall have at least one (1) year of seniority with working hours of the plant, subject to meet and bargain with prior notification to the Company. 4:01 (c) The Union agrees to notify the Company on matters properly arising in writing from time to time of the names of the members of the Plant Committee and the effective date of their appointment. 4:01 (d) If the Union Xxxxxxx is absent from the Company’s employment Because of illness or leave of absence, the Company will recognize an alternate xxxxxxx on that shift. 4:02 The Union will notify the Company in writing of the name of the Union Business Representative. The Union Business representative shall be allowed to enter the Company’s Prince Road premises to deal with the administration of this Agreement, provided he does not interfere with the normal operation of the Company. Such entry is limited to the normal working hours of the plant, subject to prior notification to the Company. 19.02 Members 4:03 For the purpose of layoff, the xxxxxxx shall be established on the seniority list as first man provided they have the necessary skills and qualifications. This will not apply to alternate stewards. 4:04 The Company agrees to pay Union Stewards at their regular rate of pay for a reasonable amount of time spent dealing with grievances in the plant during the Union Xxxxxxx’x regular working hours, and does not include time spent on grievances after they have reached the arbitration stage. The above procedure shall also apply to group grievances. 4:05 The Union recognizes and agrees that stewards as well as other employees have regular duties to perform. Stewards will notify their supervisor of the Committee department where they are respectively employed and shall be selected permitted during their working hours without loss of time or pay to attend to Union business requirements including but not limited to dues receipts, Workers Compensation issues, leaves of absence issues, and discussions with management, union, and workers with complaints or grievances, subject to a maximum absence from their regular duties of one (1) hour within the hours comprising one working day. The time may be extended with mutual agreement of the supervisor and xxxxxxx. (Such approval shall not be unjustly withheld.) Whenever, in accordance the opinion of the supervisor concerned more than a reasonable period of time shall have been taken by a xxxxxxx to accomplish such business requirements the supervisor of the department to which the xxxxxxx is attached shall decline to approve payment to such xxxxxxx for such excess time. 4:06 The Company will verbally notify the Union through the Alternate Xxxxxxx, by telephone, or E-mail prior to the suspension or discharge of a Xxxxxxx. The Company will confirm to the Union Business Representative such action in writing by registered mail, or Email. Failure of the Company to comply with this procedure will render the constitution dismissal or suspension null and void. 4:07 The Company agrees to make available to the Union Stewards an in-plant Union Office, for their exclusive use when conducting union business, including computer, printer and internet access, subject to Company policies. 4:08 The Company will provide a glass enclosed, locked bulletin board conspicuously placed for the exclusive use of the Union. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal 4:09 The Company agrees that a xxxxxxx may provide newly-hired probationary employees with the grievances of employees, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate such employees for the a fifteen (15) minute orientation at a time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, at their regular rate of pay. The Company may be present during such orientation. Whenever possible such orientation will be held prior to the employees commencing work. The time allotted shall be reduced to writing, signed by both parties, for a group orientation and become a part not for individual orientation of this Agreement and attached heretoeach employee. 19.08 Plant Committee members required to be absent from their regular duties for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances and complaints shall notify their Team Leader, who shall arrange relief, if necessary. It is agreed that Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from their duties for the length of time necessary to investigate or adjust a complaint or grievance and shall report immediately upon their return to their job.

Such Committee persons shall be appointed from different areas of the Plant and it is further agreed that the employees shall not serve as Committee persons until they have established six (6) months continuous employment with the Company. One Committee person shall be designated as Chairperson. The Committee Chairperson will be appointed by on straight days. The committee persons shall be responsible for dealing with discipline and grievance related matters on their respective shifts. If no committee person is working on a shift there will be a designated alternate committee person for the purposes of dealing with matters on that shift after which the alternate shall hand over carriage of any matter to the regular committee person. (b) The Union to meet and bargain with shall notify the Company on matters properly arising in writing from time to time in administration of this Agreement. 19.02 Members of the Committee shall be selected in accordance with the constitution of the Union. 19.03 It is clearly understood the Committee members will not absent themselves from their regular duties unreasonably in order to deal with the grievances of employees, or with other Union business; in accordance with this understanding the Company will compensate such employees for the time spent in negotiating with the Company; handling grievances of employees, and attending the meetings of the plant committee, at their regular rate of pay. This does not apply on time spent on such matters outside of regular working hours. It is agreed that Plant Committee members shall only absent themselves from their duties for the length of time necessary to investigate or adjust assist an employee in presenting a complaint or grievance during working hours, the Committee person will not leave his work without obtaining the permission of his Foreperson or immediate Supervisor. Such permission will not be unreasonably denied. Provided such time is reasonable under the circumstances and shall report immediately upon their return the meeting is on plant premises, during normal working hours, the Committee person will be paid by the Company. (d) The Committee Chairperson will be allowed four (4) hours per week to their jobadminister the Collective Agreement if necessary. The Union will be provided office space, including a desk, phone, filing cabinet and a computer with internet access.
